FEATURED ARTIST: AMY CANNADY

In Amy Cannady's work, tension and serenity coexist, inviting the viewer to consider life's mysteries and ambiguities. Through a process of reduction and layering, she allows line and form to emerge, disappearing again into obscurity and creating a sense of time and space. The natural world and relationships have been the artist's key inspirations. Her childhood spent in the rolling hills and woods of Southern Indiana informs the spiritual landscapes she paints. Cannady now creates her abstract paintings from her studio in Dallas, Texas.
