"My photographs represent a collection of landscapes made over the last thirteen years. Part of this work has always dealt with a fascination I have for what has been called cultural landscape. The way people use private and public landscapes reflects differences in local cultures and marks history. Landscapes are constantly changing, which has given urgency to my need to document this change and record the decisive moment. My particular aspiration is to continue revealing common landscapes, ones that anyone can view, but to do so in an uncommon ways."
